Skincare tips for the changing season.

28 November 2017

The cosmetic products used for skincare should change according to the season.

Season changes don’t involve only the closet but every aspect of our lives.

The cloths, the food, the plants, the destinations of our holidays change.

And, beauty products for skincare.

In order to be always at the top, even your skin must follow the change and be treated with different products suitable for each season.

If you use the same cosmetic products throughout the year,  your skin will not get any positive result.

Then, take notes about how radiant and healthy you can look all year round.

Notes for the Winter. Purifying, Nourishing, Protection, Exfoliating

Cosmetic products that are used in winter must purify, nourish, be protective and exfoliate.

PURIFYING

In order to eliminate the excess of sebum, summer months require deep facial cleansing.

With the arrival of the cold season, the production of the sebum decreases and the skin dehydration increases.

In winter, it is advisable to change the milk detergent with something lighter and use it up to twice daily, morning and evening.

NOURISHING

The skin has to deal with dry and sparkling autumn and winter air.

Then, the best way to deal with it, is to re-place the light cream of summer with a more moisturizing one, opting for an ultra-moisturizing solution.

Apply it on your face and neck twice a day, giving your skin time to adapt to the winter climate.

PROTECTION

It is wrongly believed that sunblock should only be applied during the summer period.

Even though temperatures have fallen down, the sun continues to shine, so you need to take precautions to protect yourself from sunlight even during winter time.

The facial cream to apply every morning must contain the Protective Factor to protect the face from sun damage.

EXFOLIATING (Less but More)

Although exfoliation is effective in keeping your face clean, radiant and healthy, it should be lighter but also more frequent in winter.

Make sure you use a light fruit-based product that removes the top layer of the skin while keeping it moisten.

Please make sure that the product contain lactic acid for drier skin and glycolic acid for the fatty skin.

Exfoliation also has the task of ensuring the absorption of the products applied on the face in order to achieve the best results.
